I got this Globe Prepaid WiFi manufactured by Tozed ZLT-S10G with the 2.10.1 Firmware version.
According to the official Tozed website , here are the specifications:
This is a CAT4 LTE device, has four band support: Band 3, 28, 40 and 41. Band selection will be available once we unlock and debrand this device. We select specific band if we are sure that that provides fastes and stable connectivity on our area.
The box and the contents:
I won’t use that App on my phone, this device will be unlocked/openlined to all networks.
The unit itself with detached antennas, with the Globe marking.
Ethernet/LAN cable, 2x antennas, 2x Silica Gel (to remove moisture) and the AC-DC power supply (12V 1A output).
The label of the power supply unit.
DC Plug
The modem’s label.
Web UI: 192.167.254.254
Default User/Pass: user/@l03e1t3
Power input: DC 12V 1A
The SIM and non-existent battery compartment. Protected by Globe Sticker Seals to void your warranty if you attempt to open.
The internals of the modem, not much shown here as they have RF shielding. At this time, I do not have a hot air soldering station to remove those shieldings.
A DIY Male to Male USB to attempt adb and bootloader connection. Not much information about these at the time being.
The dmesg
output from a Debian GNU/Linux detecting the ZTE Bootloader of the modem split second.
UART pinouts
Male header pins that will be soldered to the UART pinout.
Soldered UART pinout with Female cable going to the USB to UART (CH341).
Note: The UART outputs 1.8V!
CH341 outputs 3.3V
The USB CH341 UART/TTL dongle.
The modem booting up a Linux operating system. Uboot delay is zero, impossible to interrupt (unless someone can figure out how??)
Next post will be for unlocking this device.
