🎉 Hello World!

This is the talaansaweb-django program deployed!

I stumbled upon a Hacker News post about making a Nintendo Switch a network switch (or hub), I was trying to re-design my website and finding a good UI/UX template for the new site. So, it hit me that this is the minimalist design that I need. No Bootstrap but just a plain design with basic UI/UX and a single CSS file. I began to recreate the site with django and just used the templates but changed the font to B612. This also includes a django-markdownX (markdown renderer for django which makes things easier for me, I may plan to look for LaTeX renderer in django).

Another problem was the name, I initially wanted to call it a minimalist django blog but it was already taken. I read some translation on the word blog and it is apparently talaan sa web in Tagalog/Filipino, so I just used it. The source code is on my GitLab account and this is still work in progress (WIP).

I would like to thank the Django Girls for having a dumb friendly tutorial on creating your first django website/blog and for https://cynthia.re for the amazing minimalist UI/UX. Airbus for the B612 font face, Atom for the editor, Debian and Terminator for my shell/terminal program.
